Position: Brewer Reports to: Manager of Brewing Operations The Brewer position at Stemma Brewing Co. assists the Manager of Brewing Operations and brew team to produce quality beer, ensure brewhouse cleanliness, adhere to operating procedures, and contribute as needed to the success of the team. Responsibilities: •Brew delicious beers •Clean and sanitize equipment, including tanks, kegs, and draft lines •Transfer, keg, package, analyze beers •Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) •Keep accurate records and data tracking •Maintain safe and sanitary work environment •Participate in sensory program •Communicate clearly and concisely with teammates •Assist with inventory management •Take directions from manager as needed •Represent Stemma at events Qualifications: •Previous brewery or similar experience (3+ years desired) •Passion for craft beer •Knowledge of industry rules and regulations •Desire and willingness to learn •Willing to innovate, improve, and collaborate •Must be detail-oriented •Good communicator •Team player •Able to meet deadlines and prioritize •Excel under pressure and through obstacles •Self-starter •Humble, kind, honest Physical Requirements: To perform this job, individuals must meet certain physical requirements and must be able to satisfactorily complete essential job duties successfully and safely. Hours & Compensation: -40 hrs/wk.
