Stemma Brewing Company 2039 Moore St. Bellingham, WA 98229 Position: Beertender Reports to: Manager of Taproom Operations Beertenders at Stemma Brewing Co. are integral to our taproom service. Beertenders ensure customers have a great experience every visit, are knowledgeable about beer styles and brewing, and are personable and able to have fun with coworkers and customers. Responsibilities: ●Represent Stemma and our company values ●Describe and differentiate between beer styles on tap and properly pour beers ●Ensure responsible alcohol service and discern when to cut off service ●Always maintain a sanitary and beer-clean bar ●Open and close taproom with high attention to detail ●Engage customers, anticipate needs, and deliver high-quality service ●Willingly share fun and innovative ideas to improve guest experience ●Coordinate effectively with teammates ●Maintain a fun, welcoming, and safe taproom environment ●Bartend private catered events as needed, including setup and breakdown Qualifications: ●1+ yr bartending experience, or 3+ years customer service experience ●Passion for craft beer ●Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills ●Kind, friendly, humble, and honest with a strong team-player mindset ●Responsible, level-headed, and detail-oriented ●Ability to maintain composure, prioritize tasks, and provide high-quality service during high volume shifts and events ●Strong understanding of responsible alcohol service standards and compliance ●Flexible to accommodate taproom needs Physical Requirements: To perform this job, individuals must meet certain physical requirements and must be able to satisfactorily complete essential job duties successfully and safely.
