Stemma Brewing Company 2039 Moore St. Bellingham, WA 98229 Position: Beertender Reports to: Manager of Taproom Operations Beertenders at Stemma Brewing Co. are integral to our taproom service. Beertenders ensure customers have a great experience every visit, are knowledgeable about beer styles and brewing, and are personable and able to have fun with coworkers and customers. Responsibilities: -Represent Stemma and company values -Describe and differentiate between beer styles on tap -Properly pour beers in appropriate glassware -Ability to discern situations and when to cut off service -Maintain sanitary and beer-clean bar -Open and close taproom -Willing to share fun and innovative ideas -Coordinate with appropriate teammates as needed -Maintain a fun and safe taproom environment Qualifications: -1+ yr bartending experience, or 3+ years customer service experience -Good communication skills -Kind and Friendly -Passion for craft beer -Knowledge of industry rules and regulations -Responsible and level-headed -Desire and willingness to learn -Detail Oriented -Team Player -Excel under pressure -Humble, kind, honest -Flexible Physical Requirements: To perform this job, individuals must meet certain physical requirements and must be able to satisfactorily complete essential job duties successfully and safely.
